Anthony Martinez

Anthony completed his PhD in chemistry from the University of Chicago, and currently works at BCG. He led the University of Chicago Consulting Club (UCCC) for 3 years (back when UCCC worked with both grads and undergrads), and has guided numerous students on campus. He has been a vital adviser to GCC, and has been very supportive of the two consulting clubs on campus. 

 
 

Kevin Muite ( Director 2015-2016)

PhD, Immunology

Kevin was born in Kenya, raised in New Hampshire, and is a dedicated Patriots fan. As a Chicago Innovation Mentors Fellow, he has worked with several biotech startup companies at the university. Kevin was on the steering committee for the University of Chicago Bio-tech Association (UCBA) and helped pioneer the University of Chicago Tech-Transfer fellows program. He took classes at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is currently a Consultant with Navigant. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and has gone on several safaris in Sub-Saharan Africa. His favorite animal is the black rhinoceros!

 

Joanna Wroblewska ( Director 2014-2015)

PhD, Immunology

Joanna was born in Poland, and completed her undergraduate education from Tufts University. She has recently joined the BCG Chicago office.

 

Scott Brown (Director 2013-2014)

PhD in Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology

Scott founded UC-GCC (UChicago Graduate Consulting Club), now called GCC. Scott is now a senior-scientist with Abbott Laboratories, and works in the biotech arena.

 

Chintan Sumaria (Director 2016-2017)

Ph.D. Candidate in Chemistry

After completing his under-graduation from IIT Bombay, Chintan embarked on a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry at the University of Chicago. As organic chemistry is a widely applicable science that drives businesses ranging from pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, FMCG, oil & gas, food etc, a thorough understanding of the subject-matter attracted him towards his chosen subject. He loves reading The Economist, and following world marcoeconomic trends. In his spare time, he likes to run and cook spicy cuisine.
